How much is the commission?
The commission is agreed individually for each bag. Factors include the brand, model, condition, market value and the marketing effort required. Before signing the contract, you will know the asking price, commission and all agreed additional services.
When is the commission charged?
The agreed commission is only charged if your bag is sold successfully. Optional additional services and early termination after we have started working may be charged in accordance with the applicable price list for additional services.
Which bags can I submit?
The Concierge Sale is designed for high quality preowned luxury handbags. Following your no obligation enquiry, we personally assess whether your bag is suitable for our sales service.
How do I get started?
Send us photos via chat showing the front, back, sides, interior, hardware, serial number and any accessories included. We will then contact you with an initial assessment.
Do I need to send my bag immediately?
No. The first step is a no obligation initial review based on your photos and information. Only when a collaboration appears suitable will we arrange shipment or personal handover with you.
Who determines the selling price?
We agree the initial asking price together following our inspection upon receipt.
How long does the agreement run?
The standard term is 90 calendar days from the express acceptance of your bag.
When will I receive my money?
Payment is generally made once the purchase price has been received in full and the statutory cancellation period has expired.
Do I retain ownership of my bag during this time?
Yes. You retain ownership until the bag is sold successfully. BONVOYAGELOUIS provides the agreed services relating to storage, presentation, marketing and handling the sale.
Is my bag protected while it is with you?
We store accepted bags carefully in accordance with the requirements of high quality luxury items.
